The design brief was to transform a simple office space into an inviting and elegant environment that embodies Cushla Whiting’s ethos—fine jewellery that is unintimidating, empowering, and unique.

Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere was essential, ensuring that clients felt at ease while selecting gemstones—pieces they would cherish forever. A palette of warm yellow ochres, golds, cork, and soft lime-wash walls set the foundation, while heavy curtains, plush rugs, and curvaceous upholstered furniture softened acoustics, offering a tranquil retreat from the city’s energy.

Lighting played a crucial role in showcasing the brilliance of each gem. A careful balance between warm, ambient wall lighting and crisp, white task lighting allowed every stone’s true tones and sparkle to shine—making the jewellery the undisputed focal point of the space.
